3/21/2019 Customer Comment at Board Meeting:
When repairing or replacing existing service line, please make sure that your electrical system is grounded properly. Many times this is done through the main water line. If the metal pipes are replaced with plastic, the grounding is no longer effective. Consult an electrician to ensure proper grounding.
March 2019 Customer Email Question:
Does having the new meter at our house mean you’d know if a leak was on our line?
The new Badger Beacon meter will detect if there is a leak after the meter. It cannot measure water in the line before the meter. If there is any water showing up inside or outside anywhere, it is better to be on the safe side and have us check it.
January 2019 Customer Email:
I didn't think I could afford updated appliances nor did I think that doing so would save me so much. I put it off for 8 years. I traded out my old Washer for a new water saving one that retails for 600. However, I bought a nearly new Washer and Dryer on Craigslist for 150. for both! Also 2 nearly new low flow toilets for less than 100. a piece. I also rented a Home Depot pickup to get them for 19.95, very affordable transport, and picked them all up in one day.
It's possible! I used to pay 76. a month, now 36.
